Understanding Faith

I actually wrote this for my Mystic Realm BTR show but I never aired it, so I am sharing it here. I hope that you find this helpful.
Hi everyone, this is your show Host Mystic Angel! Thank you for joining us today. We are doing a little spiritual remodeling for the show that I'm really excited about. When I started this show back in 2009 I had a vision that this show would really reflect different aspects of Mysticism. Lately I have been drawn to make that a reality and to really take this show to another level of teaching. I know many of you are fans of the free readings we offer, but I would also like to offer more then just readings and really start delving more into the spiritual side of things.

To be honest, one of the hardest lessons for me to learn is the lesson of faith. I've spent most of my life searching for what it means. It's easy to give an brief explanation such as " faith is believing in the unknown" and though it sounds easy enough, it can be alot harder then it seems. It actually reminds of the saying I grew up hearing " Let go and let God"! Sure, sounds easy enough, but they forgot one little thing, How do I let go????? Well this is exactly what I had to do in order to start today's show. I had a dream and a desire to make this change for the show and I was really jazzed about it. So I hopped on my computer starring at the computer screen waiting for the gates of heaven to open up with some great message of inspiration. So I waited....and waited.... and waited. Nothing! I mean seriously, I couldn't get a single thought into my head other then "OMG! I can't think of anything!" I know some of you are feeling this, lol.

So, I finally asked my Angels for help and they guided me to a poem I wrote during an automatic writing session. I was feeling really lost at the time and during this session I asked for clarity and they answered. So here's the poem.

Through the veil I walk alone

into worlds unseen and unknown

awaken mystical eyes that I may see

the magick before me

I hear you calling, your voice so clear

Through the wind you draw me near

"failure in your eyes I see

the time has come to set your heart free"

Journey the valley where the Mystics go

the place where magickal energy freely flows

Luna cries blood red tears

release now all that you fear

pain thy heal in shadows tow

release thee now all that you hold

rising sun falling moon

dance the rythem of the Mystic's tune.

and then the angels gave me their final message:

The journey is not in the Mystic's mind

but in the Mystic's heart.

I realized in that moment that I asked for help 3 years ago and they answered me, yet I never really took the time to really hear what they were saying. Reading it normally, it sounds like a bunch of cryptic crap but I knew the meaning then but I wasn't ready.

So what does this mean?

The first three versus:

Through the veil I walk alone

into worlds unseen and unknown

awaken mystical eyes that I may see

the magick before me

I hear you calling, your voice so clear

Through the wind you draw me near

is pretty easy to understand and it's a cry for help to the Angels. My desire was there but I was so blinded by circumstances and duty that I couldn't see beyond where I was. I was stuck!

And then the Angels replied:

"failure in your eyes I see

the time has come to set your heart free"

This was the Angels acknowledging my feelings of feeling like a failure because during that time I felt the pull inside to do more spiritually but I was so busy with my job that I had little time for anything else, and my spirituality became my last priority. Sure, noone can really fault me, I have to financially take care of my family, but on a deeper level, it wasn't about money, it was about fear and being to afraid to step out of my comfort zone. And my doing this, I betrayed my heart. I traded possibilities for safety. I traded faith for security and I traded spiritual freedom for an emotional prison. And back then, I knew this. But then they go on to say:

"Journey the valley where the Mystics go

the place where magickal energy freely flows"

This was their plee to make some changes in my life, the very changes I was begging them for when I first started this session. They were wanting me to take that leap of faith and believe in their guidance and to believe in myself. To believe in what I already knew in my heart to be true.

Then they go on to tell me to release my fears.

"Luna cries blood red tears

release now all that you fear"

Sounds easy on paper, but anyone who suffers from fear knows that fear literally kills the soul. It prevents you from ever moving forward and will keep you stuck until however long it takes for you to be able to move past it. But how do you move beyond it when you have that little voice in the back of your mind telling you how stupid you are for even thinking about doing it? Telling you all the consequences that COULD happen if you take the risk. And making you doubt that the risk is worth it. But fear never lets you fully entertain possibilities and it robs you of all hope and faith. Hope is life and so is blood. Both are an essential part of life and both are needed in order to live. Tears, in this sense represent sorrow which is all that is left when fear takes over, and the only way to live again is to release the fear.

pain thy heal in shadows tow

release thee now all that you hold

Healing isn't always the easiest thing to do when the emotional scars are deep, but healing can only come when you are ready to let go of the pain. If your not ready to let go of the pain, healing will never come. And the Angels knew this and they were practically begging me, "LET GO!" " Unless you let go of the pain, you will never heal and will always be stuck! never moving forward! Why, because we are governed by freewill and we have to WANT to let go of it before we can. And it seems crazy to want to hold onto to pain, but pain is often governed by other emotions such as anger or sadness which is also attached to other things. I'm going to use Bella and Edward from Twilight as an example because situations like this actually do happen. Bella is pregnant and there is no real hope that Bella will survive the pregnancy, but she chose not to have an abortion but do everything she could to try to save her baby. Edward feels angry and betrayed and feels like Bella is trying to leave him. Bella dies during the delivery of the baby, but the baby lives. Now, at this point, let's say that Edward is human and he is filled with pain. The pain is sorrow from the loss of Bella. But to let go of that sorrow would mean that he would be forced to move forward in life and maybe even find love again. But then he feels extreme guilt for letting go of the pain and moving on. By holding onto the pain, he is also holding onto the love he and Bella shared. This happens more often then not. When it comes to pain, when we let go of pain, we also let go of the cause of that pain and that cause can be a person, a thing, a situation that we aren't ready to let go of. And somehow we know on a deeper level what is required of us. No matter the requirement is, healing of pain always demands change and when you boil it all down, that is what your deciding on when it comes to releasing pain. Are you willing to accept what healing will require you to do in order for you to move forward? And in a nutshell, this is what they were asking of me.

rising sun falling moon

dance the rythem of the Mystic's tune.

This was their promise to me. The rising sun is a promise of a new day if I follow their guidance. When you've been in the dark for so long, it can be hard to visualize the dawn of a new day. It's sounds like it could be promising but once we have been in the darkness for a long period of time, the dawn seems more like a fantasy or an illusion. It's not real. To awaken to a new dawn you must have faith to believe in that promise. We must trust in what we cannot see, for the sun hasn't risen yet. And what does this new dawn bring? Will it bring the life we always desire, or will it shed light on something we don't want to see? What if it does come and nothing changes? Faith isn't about just hope, but is cemented in trust. Usually when it comes to faith, we are at rock bottom and we are basically placing all our stock into whatever it is we are hoping for and trusting that it will work out. More often then not, we envision how we wish for things to turn out and more often then not, it doesn't turn out the exact way. But trust is earned, so whatever it is that we have faith in, we have that faith either way because that person or thing we have faith in has shown a pattern of trust worthiness throughout our lives or because we have no other option. For many, it's a combination of both. But the new dawn will only come through faith, whether it be faith in a deity, the universe or even yourself. Faith of a mustard seed, Jesus said is all you need and the reason is because it's all you need in order to activate belief and belief is what manifests dreams into reality.

The journey is not in the Mystic's mind

but in the Mystic's heart.

This was their final message and the message is very straightfoward, and that is to look to the heart. The heart holds our love, our passions and our desires. It holds hope and the light that is within us. The heart is the key to all the tools we need in order to navigate through this life. It is the organ that pumps the life into our veins, literally, lol. It feeds us life and this is why when we are lost, to not look at the mind, but to look deep into the heart. The heart is the key to the soul and the soul holds all that is you. If you ever needed to know anything, you will always find it there.
